The one thing nobody tells you
Starting therapy was so scary but I am so glad I done it! At first the first couple of months I would say I felt that I’d made a mistake because I felt like I was bringing up emotions that I just did not want to deal with so it was quite stressful and emotional but when I stuck it through I now realised it’s not about forgetting it’s about learning how to cope with the emotions

The conversation
The bit about bringing up emotions you didn't want to deal with really resonates. I nearly quit after session three because it made everything feel worse before it got better.
Sticking with it is the hardest part. Glad you did.
